In Freud's theory of "repression" the mind automatically banishes traumatic events from memory to prevent overwhelming anxiety. Freud further theorized that repressed memories cause "neurosis," which could be cured if the memories were made conscious. While all this is taught in introductory psychology courses and has been taken by novelists and screenwriters to be a truism, Freud's repression theory has never been verified by rigorous scientific proof.--John Hockmann

Donations are needed for Community Change

We are trying to support our efforts to become registered charity non-profit in Washington State, in order for us to become an agent registration and charity registration, as well as business license would cost approximately $499.00.
Our charity name will be cause2care4-Kelso Community Grounds, and would be a day center where our homeless can cook, shower and receive phone calls for employment opportunities. Those that want to become a member will have a membership due each month and can sign up for community chores services in lew of cash.
Our services include but aren't limited to Cowlitz County Street Sweep, keeping our community clean,
