"Hi, my name is Lacy. I was born in the hospital just down the street 13 years ago and still live in your community today.
I need your help.
Do you want to hear my story? Will you be the one to help me?"

Lacy represents many girls across our nation,
girls whose identity has been taken from them,
whose innocence has been stolen.
They are rented out nightly to many
men who view them as prostitutes,
a product they can purchase
for their pleasure;
they do not want to see
them as someone’s daughter.
But we do. We want to remind people that each
Lacy is a child,a victim of domestic minor sex trafficking,
and she is being trafficked in our own communities.
The young "Lacy" in this video has permitted us
to use portions of her story for
our awareness campaign
in the hope it will alert families and
communities to protect girls like her
